“The host organised the whole tour taking pressure off the tour members. His knowledge of the locations including knowing the best time to arrive in order to get the best photographs based on the light was a huge advantage.”

Venice must be one of the world’s most beautiful cities and a location that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime.

A city full of stunning architecture and amazing canals winding their way through the city, it’s so easy to see why it’s a mecca for photographers and artists alike. There are compositions in all directions and on every corner.

We will stay at the Royal San Marco Hotel in the heart of the San Marco area which gives us the perfect base to some of the classic locations such as Piazza San Marco, Rialto and the stunning view towards Maria della salute from Accademia Bridge.

We will explore the back streets and more and even venture over onto the nearby island of Burano for lunch and to photograph this stunning small island until sunset and the blue hour before heading back for dinner.

“I had a brilliant time on this trip. Lee took us to amazing locations that were great for getting good photographs and supported us to do so. The group were good fun and I enjoyed the breakfasts in the hotel and outside meals every evening. The hotel was very convenient and the accommodation good. I also enjoyed all the walking as it was good for fitness. And whilst it was cold when we were standing on the bridges while we waited for blue hour, we never stood so long that we froze! Lee is very good at passing on his knowledge and is very well equipped to do so.”
